Most contractors rent their specialty equipment. We own ours — 105′ digger derricks and bucket trucks, a pressure digger, track units, a directional bore machine, a vacuum excavator — and it’s maintained by the people who depend on it. That’s you.
The work runs both ways: scheduled maintenance and real repairs in the yard, and the call at an odd hour when a rig goes down on a job three states from home and a crew is standing around waiting on you.
What you'll do
- Maintain and repair the fleet: digger derricks, bucket trucks, pressure diggers, track units, the directional bore machine, and the vacuum excavator
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and keep service records current
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck-mounted equipment
- Handle field service calls to get a down rig running and a crew back to work
- Keep aerial equipment inspected and compliant so it’s safe to put a lineman in the bucket
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience maintaining heavy trucks and equipment
- A valid CDL (commercial driver’s license)
- Willingness to travel for field service across our five-state area
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Travel is required — our work spans five states. Karian Peterson pays for lodging, and per diem is offered on top of it.
